The Ford

The trees along this shady lane forms a hazy tunnel that leads you forward into the painting, but first you must negotiate the ford but fortunately there is a wooden footbridge to help you keep your feet dry and provides a sun dappledfocal point.

This project gives you the opportunity to use a wide variety of brushes to paint distance, foliage, water and reflection as well as dappled sunlight and shadow, with some poppies thrown in for good measure.
