Developed especially for Fiona, this water resistant artist quality pigment ink can be used with watercolours to produce fabulous flocculating effects. (watch the film below)

Flocculation occurs when the properties of the ink come into contact with water, react and clump together forming pigment islands.
This effect does not rely on the paper surface it can be created on any paper from HP smooth to extra rough making this a very versatile product.

These islands of deep colour can be as varied as subtle and gritty in appearance to large islands of texture depending on how much and how you add the water to the ink.

Once dry this ink becomes water resistant so that you can use your watercolour over the top of it, or indeed under it, thereby adjusting the colours. You can also build up the layers using ink layers on top of previously dried ink.
