This Cottage is in Bourton on the Water the Cotswolds.
Terry had a wonderful way of painting dusk, that time of day when the sunlight has gone from the sky but the glow of light remains which seems quite magical. His use of warm light reflecting onto the snow coupled by this little group of Carol Singers evokes memories of past Christmases and warm welcomes.
There is a warmth and depth created by the dropping in of colours especially effective in the stonework.
