Painted on 10th February 2009 this painting features in Terry's book 'Ready to Paint Barns' (information detailed on the reverse of the painting)

There is a particularly lovely glow of light within this work which stems from the luminous washes applied at the very beginning. Notice how the blue of the flowers reflects upwards onto the barn suggesting a haze of colour. 
This is one of the few remaining paintings which include bluebells.
