This half timbered, black and white thatched cottage has a garden so full of flowers, and is the demonstration painting in Terry's  'Rustic Buildings and Barns' book.  The lovely wet in wet techniques used to create the thatch and background trees contrast so well with the riot of colour just make this a wonderful painting.
