There are very few canvas paintings remaining of Terry's especially small ones and this one featuring a bluebell wood is especially lovely, with its sunlight streaming across the painting.
Terry loved painting bluebell woods and would search them out in May time.
This is a lovely example, delicate brush textures and a haze of blue and mauve, a lovely little painting.
