A wonderful old boat at low tide in the harbour was a firm favourite of Terry's to paint. This is a great example of his use of wet into wet techniques in both the sky, distance and castle, creating this lovely distance and atmosphere. The foreground is packed with textural interest, grasses as well as pink marsh flowers.
