The Quiet Road 12 x 18 inches watercolour on paper
SOLD
Terry loved coming across a view such as this which formed the basis of many a painting. The addition of the chickens on the road suggests that it is a road seldom used.
His loose drawing can be seen in places which adds a special interest to this piece.
This painting was likely signed whilst it was still on the easel, due to the signature sloping downward towards the right. He would heave finished his painting demonstration, dipped his brush in whatever paint remained in his palette, leant forward and signed.
