Painted on a warm oatmeal coloured watercolour paper this loose study is of the Motor Museum in Bourton on the Water. The Mill section is partly obscured by the tree encouraging the viewer to focus more on the collection of buildings adjoining the Mill.

Painted on location the lush colours used are very much enhanced by this base colour. 

Terry's pencil lines can be made out showing the structure of his composition.

There is also the addition of Terry's finger print in the reflection on the right side of the painting as he most likely shifted the paper on his easel whilst working on it, or perhaps the wind caught it as he painted!
