This wonderful subject Terry found whilst on holiday in France staying with friends and he couldn't wait to paint it.
There is lovely detail on the tiled roof and stonework contrasting with the subtle use of colour in the distant landscape.
Notice the wonderful array of colours in the foreground, the soft pinks and golds in the foreground keeping the eye focused on the warmth of the building and all the rustic details.
