This is one of the few remaining paintings which feature bluebells.
This location was a favourite of Terry's and he painted it in all its seasons, but the Spring must surely be the nicest.
The wet into wet delicate background is the perfect backdrop for the trees and foliage canopy, moving forward to the swathes of flowers in the foreground.
