DVD Country Landscapes

more available after the lock down.
Included with this DVD are the line layouts for each of the three projects so that you can transfer your drawing onto watercolour paper and paint along with Terry!
There are three projects, a summer scene, a spring scene and a winter scene. Nice and varied with lots you can learn.

The Open Gate
This warm and inviting summer landscape gives you the opportunity to use a wide range of brush techniques to create various foliage effects, these include stippling, wet into wet, and dropping in as well as simple masking fluid and a paper mask techniques. Flowers, such as poppies in a foreground create interest and a splash of colour, once you have learnt this technique you can successfully create your own summer landscapes.

The Shortcut
Spring is one of my favourite seasons because it gives me the opportunity to paint bluebells. In this project learn a variety of brush techniques showing you how to achieve success when painting trees and dappled flowers in a spring landscape. The view I have chosen includes a stile and a pathway leading to a quaint little church, you could equally change this building for a cottage or barn.

Snow Tracks
Masking fluid is a perfect medium to use when painting snow scenes. This project will give you plenty of scope to put into practice many new and exciting ways of applying masking fluid. Once you have learnt these techniques you can then move on and create your own compositions. Sunlight and shadows play a big part in the success of a snow scene, this type of view does not need to be cold but can be inviting by using the right colours. Learn these tips to achieve your own success.

Also included on the DVD is a section showing you exactly how to transfer the line drawing onto your paper.
