One-Day workshops what to expect

A one-day workshop costs £49 (all materials supplied)

What you can expect from one of my one-day workshops.

If you haven’t been on one of my one-workshops before, you will find they are very relaxed and great fun. They are from 10.00am – 4.00pm with a short break for lunch.

All the paints, paper, brushes, boards, water pots and even tea and coffee is provided for you, all you need to bring is your packed lunch (and your sense of humour)!

For the first hour, until the coffee break I demonstrate the various brushes and their uses, you just sit back and relax! Then after coffee it’s your turn and together we go through various techniques that you will need to experience prior to beginning your painting.

After a short break for lunch we then paint the finished painting together. This may sound a bit daunting but it’s actually really relaxed. The outlines for the drawing are already lightly printed on the watercolour paper for you, so no drawing skills are required! You just paint!

By the end of the afternoon you have a finished painting. Not only this, but you will have been shown the techniques needed to paint more at home, so you can easily follow my books or DVDs. You will be able to purchase any of my art materials from me on the day at a special discount should you wish.
