OPEN STUDIO week
Daily from Sunday 12th - Sunday 19th September where you can come and see as well as buy original paintings from our books, DVDs, TV paintings and various articles that we have written over the last twelve months. We will also have work in progres on view and we will also be demonstrating. I know some Art societies have allready said that they plan to arrange a mini bus so do join us if you can, there are so many attractions here in Bourton and the Cotswolds that you might like to make a day of it or even indulge yourself with a couple of days break. It should prove to be quite an event!

This year is once again proving to be very busy for me, I have completed my new book Brush with Watercolour 2' which is called Painting Watercolour Landscapes the easy way, availalble now.
I am now working on another Acrylics book, the sequal to my first, Brush with Acrylics which will be available next year, its all go!

We had a fabulous time in Venice this May on a painting trip. Fiona (my fiancee Fiona Peart) used some of the sketches and photos from our last trip and did a step by step painting in her latest book 'How to Paint Watercolour Washes' .  
We have also recently returned from Brugge where the buildings and waterways are splendid and will be another inspiration for us both. I had to sample the Belgian beer of course and couldnt possible return home without some Belgian chocolates.

I know its a long way off, but I am planning to return to the US, Boone in North Carolina in May 2012! Where I will host a series of workshops for a company called ‘Cheap Joes Art Stuff’ don’t you just love the name? I feel quite at home there.
Last time I was there great fun was had by us all, not just myself, but my students as well, some people here have asked if the Americans got my sense of humour, doubtful, as they don’t even get it in this Country!

Many of my students came from all over the States, which was very flattering. I had a great time and shared a lot of laughs. Boone is situated in the High Country and the place is littered with barns, many of which will appear in my book, did I mention my book? Rustic Buildings and Barns.
