Skies
The Golden Leaf brush is an ideal brush for painting large areas, such as skies. It holds a surprising amount of water.
  Wet in wet
When using the wet in wet technique it is important to use plenty of water to avoid unnecessary drying. You paint the background first, then while the paint is still wet, you can stipple into the wet and the fresh paint dissolves into the background colour, creating a misty effect.

Wet on dry
Because the brush is made from bristle and hair, when the hair is wet it curls and separates the bristles, making it an ideal brush for painting texture. If you stipple onto a dry surface, the image remains as you paint it and does not dissolve into the background.

Grasses
This brush is ideal for painting grasses. Load the brush with paint – don’t have the brush too wet – then flick upwards to achieve a grass effect.
