Step 1
– paint in the tree trunk and branches first with the Half Rigger. Load the brush with Sunlit Green, making sure that the brush is not too wet. Lightly stipple over the branches.
Step 2
– with a slightly wetter brush, stipple Sunlit Green in the shape of the tree, and while it’s still wet add some Country Olive into the shady part of the tree.
Step 3
– add a third tree with a light colour first, then put the shading in on the left hand side while it’s still wet. Underneath the trees flick up for a hedgerow, then paint in the tree trunk and branches into the middle tree – finish off with a fence and a stile.
