Golden Foliage - Hedgerows and Fields

Step 1
– this is a simple but effective way of painting hedgerows and fields. Paint the sky in first and allow to dry. With the straight edge of a piece of paper, which you would use as a mask, lay the paper along the horizon or the edge of the field. Stipple the hedgerow over the edge of the paper. The trees sit on top of the hedgerow.
Step 2
– change the angle of the paper and stipple in the same way along the edge of the paper, creating trees and bushes
Step 3
– add another hedgerow at the opposite angle. Allow to dry, then paint in the different colours of the field with a large detail brush.
