Step 1 – the Deerfoot Stippler creates a fine texture which is ideal for painting walls. First stipple a light grey (Burnt Umber and Ultramarine) – not too wet.   Step 2 – when the first texture is dry, add another layer of texture, this time changing the colour (Raw Sienna).   Step 3 – when that’s dry, pick out the stone shapes with a Half Rigger.
