Step 1 – Because this is a round brush, it is ideal for achieving the roundness of certain trees. The tree trunk and branches are painted with the Half Rigger, and the foliage lightly stippled over the top with the Deerfoot Stippler.   Step 2 – using a piece of paper for a straight edge, stipple along the paper’s edge to create the hedgerows of the fields in the distance.   Step 3 – when dry, add colour washes into the fields and foregrounds.
