Description
On each workshop you will be provided with a printed drawing on Bockingford watercolour paper so you can concentrate on painting techniques, and not worry about the drawing. They are suitable for all skill levels, even beginners.
Painting buildings can be a daunting experience, but this workshop is designed to take the mystery out of a complicated subject.
The striking feature about this painting is the stone wall and gate partly in the shade. This adds strong tonal contrasts and makes the cottage appear to be bathed in sunlight. The warm colours invite the viewer to walk through the gate and up the garden.
