Description
If you fancy a weekend in the Cotswolds, doing a bit of painting and having fun at the same time, then this is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to paint a traditional Cotswolds scene.
Each day we have the use of a beautiful new light hall between 10.00 - 4.00 and we will be painting indoors (see view 3)
On the 1st day we will be covering various watercolour techniques including how to paint trees and foliage, buildings as well as water all using a selection a Terry's brushes, and we will complete a cottage doorway painting.
We will visit the Mill at Lower Slaughter at 4.30 on the first day where you can sketch, take photos and generally have a good look around before tackling your painting on the 2nd day. We will allready have covered all of the painting techniques needed to achieve the mill but we will still do the painting together step by step and the drawing will be prepared for you onto watercolour paper so that you can concentrate on enjoying the painting. I will also be providing you with a small colour photo for reference (as an aid memoir!) MY FINISHED PAINTING IS VIEW 4
You will need to find your own accommodation and bring your lunch each day as this is not included. Tea and Coffee is provided each day.
