Developed for Fiona Peart within my brush series this uniquely shaped brush is designed specifically for stroke work. Designed to act in the same way as Sable, but at a fraction of the price, it’s made primarily from squirrel hair with a small amount of synthetic water badger. The unique shaped head, helps produce fabulous strokes not quite so simple to do with a classic round shaped brush. The pyramid shaped head gives a directional driving or steering capability, so convenient for stroke work, particularly good for flowers, leaf shapes and water. The handle is high gloss black with a gold ferrule and purple tip. It's gorgeous and soft, perfect for stroke work. Designed for Watercolour.If you use Acrylics we have a limited number of synthetic brushes availalble, these are the same shape but the handles are purple and have printed on them - Terry Harrison Mock Mongoose Wedge.Always wash thoroughly after using Acrylics.
