This is a great example of Terry's skill at portraying a varied and complex landscape in snow. From the wonderful wet into wet techniques used in the sky, contrasting with the the textures he achieved in the foliage, to the bridge and buildings, this is a very special painting. The longer you look at it the more you see in the detail.
