 Welcome to my website I hope you will enjoy the site and benefit from the many free tutorials, information and SHOP. You will find the SHOP on the left hand side, with different categories that you can move the cursor over and click on the items you want to look at. You can choose to view the shop prices in US$ or Euros as well as British £. A new addition is the opportunity to buy original paintings direct through the site.
Above, you will see a menu bar, click on whichever part of the website you would like to visit. Navigating through the site should be nice and easy for you.
I have been painting for many years using watercolour and acrylics and over that time amassed a variety of painting techniques and skills, I hope you will find that I am very open and free with the knowledge that I have and more than happy to share it with you.
I have developed a range of specialist brushes including the now famous fangogh and watercolour paints, my three greens, autumn shades and shadow colour designed to make painting easier. I have also written a series of books, the first A Brush with Watercolour published in 2001 has sold over 140,000 copies. Original paintings from my latest books as well as new paintings will be available for sale soon.
Some of my paintings were specifically painted as jigsaw puzzles, commissioned by Gibson’s the well-known puzzle and games company. My latest jigsaw is of Scarborough and seems to be very popular. There have also been various teaching DVDs produced, some of these are available from the SHOP.
You will also be able to access free tuition from this site in the form of step-by-step projects which you are able to download onto your computer. If you would like to know how to use the individual brushes available there are also how to use tips provided in the TUTORIALS section. I also offer one-day watercolour workshops covering a range of subjects and available throughout the country as well as residential workshops in different locations in the UK. You will be able to see me demonstrating at art shows or perhaps at your art society.

I managed to paint a very large painting of my favourite bridge, it was a very busy week end so I could only paint in the morning to avoid the crowds. The painting took two mornings to complete, but I am very happy with it.

Good Morning!!!
Wow Terry---there’s so much I could say here because I am in awe of your talent, creativity and above all, your generosity in sharing your fabulous painting secrets with the world. Yep, I want to say the world is a better place because you’re in it! Truly, you have helped open a whole new world of creativity within me and I’m blown clear away to be honest! This past weekend, I began using your brushes for the first time (I received them just last week.) It was bliss is all I can say---pure unadulterated bliss! I kept saying to my husband, “This man (you) is my hero for unlocking what I always felt was inside of me (i.e. the ability to paint).” I’ve long had the desire but lack of know-how, skills and let’s say pretty average tools kept stopping me in my tracks and I’d wonder if I’d ever learn how to paint. Then you come along with your books and DVDs and you gave me some glimmer of hope. And your brush set is the icing on the cake to be sure! I CAN do it!!!! I CAN PAINT!!!! Yippee---it’s a dream come true for me!!!! Thank God for the internet because that’s where I found you.
I ordered your ‘Favourites set’ and had been waiting eagerly for them to arrive. You would laugh---I was like a little kid checking the mailbox every day---are they here yet---are they here yet???? LOL I was tickled pink to see them arrive and couldn’t wait to sit down with your books and give it a go. This I did yesterday and the experience was nothing short of surprising---no astonishing actually. What a difference those brushes of yours make. I’d been trying to make do with ordinary ones for months and just couldn’t get the results I hoped for no matter how hard I tried. Then yesterday, bang on, straight away, everything went perfectly, exactly as is explained in your wonderful, easy-to-follow books and DVDs. Now I can’t wait to work my way through them and look forward to creating my own “masterpieces” (er, I use the term loosely!!) as I continue to improve. Oh and while I’m here, I’d like to say thank you as well for including the Foliage PX. That was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated.
Fancy this – I turn 50 next year and at long last I’m on my way to being the artist I always felt was lurking somewhere deep inside me. My sincere thanks go to you for this Terry. However, my only regret is not ordering more brushes when I had the chance. If only I’d known how darned good your products were, I would’ve ordered others too! But given that I live in Australia, the $15 P&H prohibits me from ordering again, well at least for a wee while anyway. But not to worry, I won’t grizzle, I’m thrilled to bits with things just as they are!
I wish you and Fiona every success in the world, for you so richly deserve it and I hope all goes well for your upcoming nuptials in 2011.
